The 100-Day Project

The 100-Day Project

What could you do with 100 days of making?

I was intrigued. The question popped up on my new Instagram account, and I followed the link to the source.

The 100-Day Project encourages participants to do something (anything) creative each day for 100 days, starting on April 6, 2015.  The product of all this creativity then gets posted to Instagram under the hashtag #The100DayProject. As a newbie to the whole Instagram world, this project seemed a wonderful way to start.

But what could I do? After some thought (and several overly ambitious projects that I reluctantly discarded), I decided on the #100DaysWithinaMile project. Each day, for 100 days, I would photograph something, someplace, someone interesting within 1 mile of where I woke up each morning.

I must confess that the project didn’t work out quite as well as planned. Sometimes several days went by before I was able to post an image, but I stuck with it and here is the final gallery of my 100 days of making.
